Max of two families per field trip, up to nine people total (10 with guide), with safe social distancing between households. Fully paid, advanced reservations required. Each reservation includes a one or two parent family with up to five kids. Usually it's only one family per hike but sometimes two families are booked at the same time. You may reserve the extra spots at $10 a person to guarantee another family doesn't share your hike to keep it completely private.

The private nature preserve is never open to the public and visitors are only allowed when scheduled in advance in order to avoid trespassing. All visits must be fully supervised by trained personnel the entire time and visitors must agree to the rules of the property, including the NDA regarding the private location (for the safety of the animals, children, property owners and visitors) and a Hold Harmless waiver. Geo-tagged photos are not allowed.

Our no-contact hikes were approved by both the Douglas and Jefferson County Health Departments during the state’s first Stay-at-Home order in March of 2020 and we continue to follow strict protocols so they are completely pandemic friendly and safe. Masks are not required. Participants must drive themselves to the property, and provide their own food, beverages, insect repellent, etc.
