Max of two families per field trip, up to nine people total (10 with guide). Fully paid, advanced reservations required. Each reservation includes a one or two parent family with up to seven kids, or two families can choose to share one reservation as long as they don't exceed the maximum limit of nine total participants.
The private nature preserve is never open to the public and visitors are only allowed when scheduled in advance in order to avoid trespassing. All visits must be fully supervised by trained personnel and visitors must agree to the rules of the property, including the NDA regarding the private location (for the safety of the animals, children, property owners, and visitors) and a Hold Harmless waiver. Geo-tagged photos are not allowed.
Our original, no-contact hikes were approved by both the Douglas and Jefferson County Health Departments during the state’s first Stay-at-Home order in March of 2020 and we continue to follow strict health and safety protocols so they are still completely pandemic friendly and safe. Participants must drive themselves to the property, and provide their own food, beverages, insect repellent, etc.
